LOS ANGELES, CA — The Los Angeles County Sheriff's office says Martin Jesus Godinez is wanted for allegedly shooting a woman as she was walking from her job to her car.
The victim is identified as 27-year-old Katy Ann Nosic, who was gunned down in the parking lot of the Golden Corral in the City of Industry. Nosic was hit multiple times in her torso.
The Los Angeles Times reports that on September 4, 2017, Nosic was working as a baker trainee, which she had been doing for only three weeks before she was killed. This could have been related to a domestic dispute, the report adds. NBC Los Angeles reports that Nosic may have been in a relationship with Godinez’s ex-wife.
Joseph Nosic spoke out to share information about his daughter. She was raised in Canton, Ohio, and is the youngest of four children. Nosic was the only female sibling growing up in a house with all boys. Nosic said his daughter moved to the West Coast three years prior to look for work.
