COTTONWOOD, AZ — An Arizona man who allegedly sent explicit photos and messages to a 16-year-old girl has reportedly been identified due to the distinctive “Fun-Size” tattoo he supposedly has on his penis.
In a statement released Friday, police said that Joshua Louis Hillyard, 28, was arrested after his victim contacted her School Safety Officer and alleged she received unsolicited and explicit messages and pictures from him. Some of the photos, sent via social media, included a picture of Hillyard's penis, according to authorities.
The victim, according to police, had previously encountered Hillyard through an outreach program, in which he was a mentor.
Hillyard allegedly told police that he believed that the age of consent in Arizona was 16 because that is the law in Montana.
Cottonwood Police reportedly confirmed they were able to identify the suspect due to the genital tattoo.
Hillyard was reportedly on probation for burglary, fraud, and the sale of dangerous drugs. He has been booked into the Yavapai County Detention Center for a count of furnishing harmful materials to a minor.
