On Nov. 15, 2022, rapper Blueface was arrested in Las Vegas in connection to a shooting that happened in October, according to Yahoo.
The LA based performer, whose real name is Johnathan Porter, was taken into custody by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and booked at the Clark County Detention Center.
Porter, 25, is facing charges for felony attempted murder, use of a deadly weapon, and discharging a gun into an occupied structure or vehicle, from an October 8 incident in the southern valley, according to KTNV.
TMZ obtained video of his arrest. In the video, Porter is sitting on a bench outside of Lo-Lo’s Chicken & Waffles. A handful of officers slam him into the wall, while arresting him.
Chrisean Rock, Porter’s girlfriend who was present during his arrest, took to Instagram to express her support. She said she expects he will be coming home soon.
This is not the first time that the “Thotiana” rapper has been in trouble with the law. He was arrested earlier this year on a felony gun possession charge in Hollywood, as reported by Rolling Stone.
He was also arrested in 2019 for possession of a loaded, unregistered gun according to the New York Post.
A judge has set Blueface's bail for $50k. He's set to appear in court again on Jan. 24, 2023.
