Caught! In Pursuit Viewer Helps US Marshals Nab Former Youth Minister in Mexico
One brave viewer of In Pursuit With John Walsh in Mexico was able to identify and tip off authorities to the whereabouts of alleged sexual predator and former youth minister Jeffrey Forrest.

On May 8, 2020, US Marshal Top 15 Most Wanted Jeffrey Forrest was arrested and taken into custody because of a loyal "In Pursuit with John Walsh" tipster.
Within 24 hours, Forrest was extradited to the United States to face charges in Texas for his alleged crimes.
The tipster followed Forrest around a local Jalisco, Mexico Walmart and snapped a number of photos
In early April 2020, a brave tipster submitted a lead to our online Tips Submission Form after seeing the former youth minister on the "In Pursuit With John Walsh." The person gave specific information about where they spotted him and even went to great lengths to confirm their findings. The tipster followed Forrest around a local Jalisco, Mexico Walmart and snapped a number of photos, including the one shown above. This person became further convinced of his identity after spotting a Star Wars alliance tattoo on his right leg, which had been a signature trait of the fugitive highlighted in the episode of "In Pursuit With John Walsh. "
The US Marshals worked closely with authorities in Mexico and developed the information further which would lead to his arrest one month later.
Jeffrey Forrest is currently sitting behind bars at a detention facility in Taylor County, TX where he faces two counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child, bail jumping and failure to appear.
