PHOENIX, AZ — Authorities are on the hunt for Dimas Coronado, 47, after he allegedly shot his estranged pregnant wife and another man to death on September 1, 2018. Afterward, Coronado allegedly abducted his biological children and has been on the run ever since.

In the wake of the violence in September, Phoenix Police issued an Amber alert for Victor Nunez-Coronado, age 8; and Jonathan Nunez-Coronado, 5. Investigators believe their father may have taken the boys to Mexico, and the Amber alert was extended across the international border.

The shooting victims were identified as Omar Gonzalez, 34, who died on the scene, and Oralia Nunez, 24, who died after medics attempted to save her at a local hospital. It is believed Oralia, who was eight months pregnant, was the children’s mother.

Factoring in the unborn victim, police say they have probable cause to arrest Coronado on three counts of homicide.

According to WCNC, Oralia had filed a protection order against Coronado two months before her murder after testifying that she feared he would kill her. He was reportedly ordered to stay away from Oralia and their children, and he was not permitted to have a firearm.

It’s believed Coronado may be driving a light green Ford truck with the Mexican license plate ZUD71-64. Phoenix Police have cautioned, however, that Coronado should be considered armed and dangerous.
