Investigators are on the hunt for accused serial predator Leslie Lagrotta. Authorities believe Lagrotta allegedly attacked and raped at least seven women over the course of a decade. The attacks first began in June of 1988 and continued through 1998 in Central Florida.

The victims, according to police, were all white females in their twenties.

Investigators in Daytona Beach, Florida caught up to Lagrotta in 2010 after he was allegedly found lurking outside a woman’s window. During this arrest, Lagrotta’s prints and a DNA sample was taken from him. At the time, no one had any idea he was connected to other alleged cases in the south.

The case took a major turn in 2018 when Orlando Police Detective Michael Fields took a look at the unsolved cases involving all of the female victims. Fields was able to connect a palm print taken from one of the scenes to the prints taken in 2010. Not only was there a match, according to Fields, but DNA ultimately tied the cases together.

According to authorities Lagrotta took $22,000 cash from his account and fled. He hasn’t been seen since. Lagrotta is a white male, with brown hair (but could be graying or going bald) and blue eyes. He was born on November 2, 1960 and stands 5 feet 9 inches tall. When Lagrotta fled, he weighed around 200 pounds.
