Rosa Deloera tells the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) she not only remembers the last time she saw her toddler son, but she knew instantly when he didn't return home on time from a scheduled visit with his father that something was seriously wrong. She said, “I was hysterical. I kind of felt it – mother’s instinct. I knew in my heart he was not coming back to me.”
Deloera said Jesus “Jessie” Dominguez was visiting with his father, Claudio Dominguez, in March 2008, in Golden Acres, Texas. At the end of the visit, Deloera remembers the minutes were ticking by after the drop off time, but Claudio and Jessie were nowhere to be found.
Many birthdays, holidays, milestones have passed over the years, but Deleora has hope in her heart to one day see and hug her son again. According to a NCMEC November 2022 story, Deloera opened up about why she believes her son was taken. She said she went through a “contentious divorce” with Claudio and she was granted full custody of Jessie.
NCMEC says Claudio was last seen driving a green Ford F-150 pick up truck and he was last seen walking with a limp. The truck Claudio was driving at the time had Texas tags: 73ZCM4, NCMEC added. In August 2008, a warrant was issued for his arrest for custodial interference. At the time he vanished, Claudio stood 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighed 180 pounds.
At the time Jessie went missing as a toddler, he had light brown hair and brown eyes. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children created an age progressed photo to what Jessie may look like at the age of 13. It’s possible, according to Deloera, Jessie doesn’t even know he has any family in Texas. According to his mom, Jesse was not walking or talking when he went missing at 15 months old.
Deloera also added she never gave away his crib or stroller and will remain in Hempstead, Texas, in case he ever looks for his family.
According to NCMEC, Jessie and Claudio could be in the United States or Mexico. It’s possible they could travel back and forth.
