John Walsh’s '15 Seconds of Shame' Murder Suspect Coreyon Brown Captured

In November 2022, the United States Marshals announced the arrest of 19-year-old murder suspect Coreyon Brown. In October 2022, the suspect made his national appearance on In Pursuit with John Walsh. Brown was featured in the show's popular “15 Seconds of Shame” segment.
On Nov. 7, 2022, Brown was tracked down by the Detroit Fugitive Apprehension team at a friend’s home in Ypsilanti, Michigan, a press release said.
On June 28, 2022, investigators say Terrill Smith was murdered while he was on Facebook Live. There was a nationwide manhunt to locate five suspects total with alleged connections to the case. The U.S. Marshals said four of the suspects were apprehended quickly, but Brown remained on the run until recently.
Reports said the argument was over a Facebook dispute.
U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Michigan Owen M. Cypher wants the public to know,
“The example shown today by our fugitive apprehension team is a glimpse of the tenacity and perseverance our Deputy U.S. Marshals and Task Force Officers display daily.”
Brown is currently being held at the Washtenaw County Jail in Michigan.
