Kelsey Meza was only months away from graduating from high school when she was found murdered, alongside her mother.
Nimrod Guerrero [Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department]
The bodies of 17-year-old Kelsey Meza and her mother, 41-year-old Cecilia Meza were discovered after a disturbing 911 call, police say. In the afternoon of December 5, 2018, a man contacted police to say his brother Nimrod Guerrero allegedly confessed to the murders of his wife and stepdaughter.
Authorities responded to the home, located across the street from Kelsey's high school in Monrovia, CA, and found both bodies. Investigators say both victims were strangled to death. A motive for the crime has not been revealed.
Guerrero was last seen driving a Toyota Rav-4.
