On September 6, 2018, James Mummer disappeared from La Crosse, Wisconsin. He was 17 years old when he vanished.

Since 2018, the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children and other local organizations have been involved in his case, hoping to spread the word over the Internet and social media.

When James vanished he stood 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighed 175 pounds. He has blonde hair, brown eyes and was last seen wearing a black shirt with skulls on it and dark colored jeans.

Initially in 2018, investigators said his family believed he may be in the Reedsburg, Wisconsin area or possibly with friends in La Crosse.

James is listed as part of a longer missing person list in the state of Wisconsin. James was born on January 6, 2001.
