In January 2020, police were called to a resort in Lakeway, Texas for a fight in a parking garage of a resort and spa. Callers reported two men arguing and battling in between cars. By the time police arrived, one of the men was unresponsive.
The victim was later identified as 66-year-old Frank Terlip and was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation uncovered much more to the case and what may have led to the deadly argument. According to authorities, Frank's daughter was involved with a 54-year-old man named Henry Houston and the woman's family felt she was being taken advantage of.
When Terlip approached Houston and his daughter in the parking garage, that's when the attack happened. Investigators questioned Houston as to what really happened. Reportedly, he claimed it was self-defense and that's why he held Terlip in a chokehold.
According to CBS Houston, "Based on the interview with Houston and the witness statement, investigators said they believe Houston's actions "exceeded the necessary force necessary to defend himself," the arrest affidavit said.
After initially being held, Houston went on the run and is now wanted for second degree manslaughter and stands 5 feet 11 inches tall. He weighs around 165 pounds. He's a white or hispanic male with green eyes and brown hair, although he may have a receding hairline. It's possible he could be using aliases including Robert Alexander or David Wright.
