Convicted wife and child killer Chris Watts has been receiving love letters behind bars, according to reports.

“In my heart I know your a great guy,” wrote a woman named Candace in one of the letters that was released by prosecutors, according to Inside Edition. "If you do write me back I’d be the happiest girl alive that's for sure."

The woman signed off with hashtags #TeamChris, #ChrisIsInnocent, #LoveHim, and #SooooCute.

Another woman reportedly enclosed a photo of herself in a bikini with her letter.

Meanwhile, Chris Watts’ former mistress has reportedly been placed in the witness protection program after receiving death threats. According to Radar Online, Nichol Kessinger was taken away by federal authorities for her own safety.

“She has received several threats, public shaming, and could be considered one of the ‘most hated women’ in America,” a source told Radar. “She plans to start fresh with a new name, new town, and ultimately a new identity.”

Kessinger, 30, started a relationship with Watts several weeks before he killed his wife and daughters. She claims that she had encouraged Watts to fix his marriage – but he told her that he was in the process of divorcing his wife. She told The Denver Post in November that Watts “lied about everything.”

The father of two pleaded guilty last month to murdering his pregnant wife Shanann, 34, and their daughters Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3.

Watts is currently serving three life sentences without the possibility of parole for the murders at a maximum-security prison in Wisconsin.
