Convicted Sex Offender Joshua Box Charged With Possessing Child Porn — Again
FAYETTEVILLE, AR — A sex offender previously convicted in 2015 for possessing child pornography has been charged once again for similar offenses.
According to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Joshua Glen Box, 35, was arrested last week for being in possession of “thousands” of images of minors who were nude and/or engaged in sexual activity.

In addition, authorities say Box was in contact with a 17-year-old, which is a violation of the parole from his 2015 conviction.
A federal grand jury has since indicted Box on four counts of receiving material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor and one count of possessing material involving the sexual exploitation of a minor, with the victim being younger than 12.
Back in May, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office notified the public that Box, a registered sex offender, was moving to Fayetteville.
At the time, Box was classified as a Level 2 offender, meaning that there was a “medium risk” that he might commit the same type of crime again. Prosecutors are now saying that’s exactly what happened.
Box stands five feet tall and weighs 191 pounds. Police did not offer an explanation for his distinguishing facial injuries. He is due back in court on August 7.
