LEESBURG, FL — On November 21, 2017, Pauline Elizabeth Martin, 33, gave birth to a child with “severe medical problems.” Now police have arrested Martin and charged her with incest — as it’s being alleged that the infant’s father is Martin’s own brother.
Following the birth, doctors rushed the newborn to Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies in Orlando. Hospital staff then contacted law enforcement after DNA testing “showed the baby to have parents that are close relatives.”

Detectives spoke to Martin at the McDonald’s where she works as a cashier. Martin allegedly told the cops she has been in a “romantic sexual relationship” with her brother for the past five years.
According to the arrest report, “[Martin] said she was going to end her relationship with her brother because she knows it is wrong.”
Officers arrested Martin and charged her with incest and resisting law enforcement without violence. Her bond was set at $3,000. Authorities say they want to speak to Martin’s brother, but have not yet been able to find him.
